Eine Welt Netzwerk Hamburg e.V.

Eine Welt Netzwerk Hamburg was founded in 1992 as an umbrella organization for mainly small, non-governmental organisations. At present, it has 83 member groups.
Joined in our organization, one world groups campaign for world-wide justice, solidarity, peace and ecology. By far the greatest part of the work is done on a voluntary basis.
We understand our work as an important activity in civil society. Because we act as an umbrella organization, our activities have more impact, force and efficiency, and we can promote living and working together in solidarity.
The long term aim of our efforts is to improve the conditions in the southern countries, which are linked - directly or indirectly - to ours. Links incluce, for example,
 | The international financial markets and trade agreements
|
 | Refugees, who want to escape intolerable conditions of life, war and persecution
|
 | Over-exploitation of agricultural and industrial raw materials from the south, which are used to make consumer goods for the developed countries |
