The solar cooker type "Bamako" introduced in Bukina Faso in the nineties, did not fully satisfy the expectations of women. They wanted in particular:
 | Two reflectors, each which has a surface of 1sqm; the wings can be folded upwards when the cooker is not used, allowing easy passage through a 70 cm wide door;
 | The supporting structure has two wheels for transport;
 | Due to the geometry of the wings, heating goes nearly exclusively to the bottom of the pot;
 | The cook has direct access to the cooking place from behind;
 | There are no reflecting surfaces in front of the cooks eyes that could cause dazzling;
 | There are no reflector sheets under the pot. Thus overspill is avoided. |
